The Ministry of Agriculture will organize a "From Village to City" weekend fair in the capital on December 9-10.
Farmers from 40 different regions of the country will participate, offering the sale of a variety of agricultural and food products, with a total of 60 farmers taking part in the fair.
The main goal of the fair is to create an alternative sales channel for local farmers while ensuring urban residents have access to natural, local, and healthy agricultural products. The fair will take place at Nərimanov district, Fətəli khan Khoyski street, 5 (next to "Gənclik" metro station) from 09:00 to 19:00. The quality of the products on sale will be monitored by the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency, and a Mobile Food Laboratory will operate at the fair.
It is noteworthy that farmers will be provided with necessary equipment and tools, such as stalls, scales, refrigerators, free of charge. Additionally, farmers facing transportation difficulties will receive logistical support to transport their products directly from their farms to the fair locations.
