Vilprofen - Injection Solution

Composition:

Each ml contains 100 mg Ketoprofen.

Indications:

Vilprofen injection is used as an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic, and antirheumatic agent in cattle, horses, and pigs. It is specifically used in the following cases:

For Cattle:

Supportive therapy to alleviate clinical symptoms during acute respiratory infections, acute mastitis, mammary edema, and colic pain.

Neutralization of the negative effects of endotoxins secreted by gram-negative bacteria.

Treatment of non-infectious inflammation of the respiratory-muscle system (to prevent secondary muscle-mucous membrane disorders after postnasal disease).

Diarrhea. It is used in combination with oral rehydration therapy for the alleviation of clinical symptoms in dry cows, young animals, and week-old calves.

For Horses:

Traumatic arthritis - synovitis, tendinitis, osteochondritis dissecans, osselets, laminitis, soft tissue edema, post-operative inflammation and edema, and non-infectious inflammation of the respiratory-muscle system.

It can be used in combination with other preparations to reduce pain during colic pain.

Successful use for the treatment of eye inflammations such as uveitis, keratitis, and traumatic corneal injuries.

For Pigs:

Treatment of diseases accompanied by inflammation, pain, or fever.

Treatment during the dystocia syndrome, mastitis metritis agalactia (MMA) syndrome after calving, and respiratory infections.

Short-term alleviation of post-operative pain associated with minor soft tissue surgeries such as tail docking.

Dosage and Administration:

Pharmacological Dosage:

For horses: 2.2 mg/kg of body weight.

For cattle: 3 mg/kg of body weight.

For pigs: 3 mg/kg of body weight.

Practical Dosage:

For horses: 10 ml per 450 kg of body weight, once daily for 5 days.

For cattle: 3 ml per 100 kg of body weight, for 1-3 days.

For pigs: 1 ml per 33 kg of body weight.

Presentation:

Available in 20 ml, 50 ml, and 100 ml vials.

Drug Residue Warning:

Cattle intended for meat consumption should not be slaughtered for food during the treatment period and for 1 day following venadaxil and 4 days following əzələdaxil treatment. Pigs intended for meat consumption should not be slaughtered for food during the treatment period and for 4 days following the last treatment day. The withdrawal period for cattle (venadaxil and əzələdaxil administration) is "0" days for milk.
