Injection Suspension

Composition:

Each ml contains:

Amoxicillin Trihydrate: 150 mg

Indications:

Vilamoks-LA injection suspension is used for the prevention and treatment of infections caused by amoxicillin-sensitive microorganisms in the gastrointestinal and urinary systems. It is effective against Campylobacter, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, E. Coli, Erysipelothrix, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, penicillinase-negative staphylococci, and streptococci. It is also used for the treatment of soft tissue infections like respiratory tract infections in large ruminants, pigs, goats, sheep, cats, and dogs, as well as post-operative infections. Additionally, it is used as a support in the treatment of diseases such as pneumonia, enteritis, omphalitis, mastitis, and metritis.

Dosage and Administration:

Pharmacological Dose: For target animals, a dose of 15 mg/kg body weight is recommended.

Practical Dose: For target animals, a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg body weight is recommended.

Large Ruminants 400 kg 40 ml

Pigs 200 kg 20 ml

Cattle 50 kg 5 ml

Sheep, Goats 20 kg 1-2 ml

Pigs 75 kg 7.5 ml

Dogs 20 kg 2 ml

Cats 10 kg 1 ml

Kittens, Puppies 5 kg 0.5 ml

Note:

For large ruminants, sheep, and pigs, it is administered intramuscularly, while for dogs and cats, it can be administered both intramuscularly and subcutaneously.

If necessary, an additional dose can be repeated 48 hours after the initial dose.

Presentation:

Available in 50 ml and 100 ml bottles.

Withdrawal Period:

For large ruminants, sheep, and pigs, animals should not be sent for slaughter during the treatment period and for 21 days after the treatment is completed. Milk from cows and sheep should not be used for human consumption during the treatment period and for 3 days (6 milkings) after treatment completion.
