Oral Solution

Composition per ml:

Each ml contains 100 mg of the active substance Enrofloxacin.

Indications:

VIL-FLOKS oral solution is used for the treatment of respiratory and digestive system diseases in calves and lambs with undeveloped activity. It is used for conditions like pneumonia, gastroenteritis, septicemia, and colibacillosis. Additionally, it is used for the treatment of soft tissue diseases such as secondary bacterial exacerbations during viral diseases, including gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasmas sensitive to enrofloxacin. It is also used for the treatment of respiratory and digestive tract diseases (such as pasteurellosis, mycoplasmosis, colibacillosis, colisepticemia, and salmonellosis) originating from bacterial and mycoplasma sources in pigs. It is also indicated for diseases such as atrophic rhinitis and enzootic pneumonia, where enrofloxacin is chosen as the drug based on microorganism sensitivity.

Usage and Dosage:

Pharmacological Dosage:

For calves and lambs: 5 mg/kg of live weight.

For piglets: 1.5-5 mg/kg of live weight.

Practical Dosage:

For calves and lambs:

Administered by mixing in drinking water at a dose of 1 ml/20 kg of live weight.

For piglets:

Administered by mixing in drinking water at a dose of 0.5 ml/20 kg of live weight.

Note:

Treatment should be continued for 3-5 days.

Packaging:

Available in 100 ml, 500 ml, 1 L, 3 L, and 5 L bottles.

Withdrawal Period:

Cattle and sheep intended for meat production should not be sent for slaughter within 8 days and 10 days after treatment, respectively.
