KEPROMEC SUPER INJ.

Composition:

Each ml of the solution contains:

Ivermectin 10 mg

Clorsulon 100 mg

Description:

Ivermectin is highly effective in the treatment and control of both internal and external parasites in large ruminants. Clorsulon is a sulfonamide that inactivates both adult and immature liver flukes.

Indications:

Kepromec Super Inj. is indicated for the treatment and control of abomasal and intestinal nematodes, liver flukes, splenic flukes, liver worms, paramphistomes, dermal gadfly larvae, lice, mites, and ticks in large ruminants, sheep, goats, and camels.

Paramphistomes: Thelazia spp.;

Abomasal and intestinal worms: Cooperia spp., Haemonchus placei, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Ostertagia spp., Strongyloides papillosus, Trichostrongylus spp., Bunostomum phlebotomum, Nematodirus helvetianus, Nematodirus spathiger, and Trichuris spp.;

Liver worms: Dictyocaulus viviparus;

Lice: Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, and Solenopotes capillatus;

Mites: Psoroptes bovis, Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis;

Hypoderma spp. (parasitic stage): Hypoderma bovis, H. lineatum;

Liver flukes (adult): Fasciola hepatica.

Contraindications:

Do not administer by intramuscular or intravenous route. Do not administer to lactating animals intended for human consumption. Do not administer to other animal species than recommended, as severe adverse reactions, including death in dogs, may occur.

Additional Information:

Swelling at the injection site has been observed. Transient discomfort has been reported in large ruminants after subcutaneous injection. Both reactions may occur and resolve without treatment.

Dosage and Administration:

For subcutaneous administration. Administer behind the shoulder.

Large ruminants, sheep, goats, and camels: 1 ml per 50 kg body weight.

Do not exceed 10 ml per injection site.

Treatment may be repeated only upon the advice of a veterinarian.

Withdrawal Period:

Meat and internal organs: 66 days.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dark place between 15°C and 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
