Composition:

Each 1 ml contains:

Florfenicol: 300 mg

Indications:

Florjat is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used against respiratory infections. It is indicated for the treatment of respiratory infections caused by Pasteurella species and infections related to hoof necrosis caused by Fusobacterium and Bacteroides species. It is also effective against bacterial infections that are susceptible to chloramphenicol.

Recommended Usage:

Subcutaneous: 20 mg per kg of body weight (10 ml per 150 kg of body weight), administered intramuscularly, to be repeated after 48 hours; or

Dermal: 40 mg per kg of body weight (20 ml per 150 kg of body weight), administered as a single dose.

Withdrawal Period:

Subcutaneous: 30 days

Dermal: 44 days

Available in 10 ml, 50 ml, and 100 ml bottles.
